Summer and the Paradiski Area

There is an abundance of events and activities to visit and participate in during the summer months.

With Peisey-Vallandry being one of the gateways to the Vanoise National Park, which boasts some 500km of footpaths and trails, which criss-cross the 53,000 hectares, it is the ideal location for your walking or hiking holiday. With it?s network of some 25 mountain refuges ideal for your well earned lunch stop whilst contemplating the high peaks of Mont-Pourri and Grande Casse.

The park is home to over a thousand species of flowers, 1200 ibex, over 4500 chamois and numerous other There are many mountain bike routes either along forest paths, agricultural tracks, or more technical, steeper trails. Also, take advantage of areas ski lift network.

Why not take to the fast flowing local waters with a team of fellow rafters. Tee up on one of the excellent local golf courses or if you really fancy a challenge scaling some of the many local peaks. We work in partnership with all local guides and instructors and can arrange for hire of any necessary recommended equipment.

Numerous festivals and shows occur during the summer months, such as music, flora, historic and baroque to name but a few.
